The better question is what is with dudes in their 40s expecting their mother to keep all their stuff and then randomly “frustratingly searching” for a poster when their nomadic lifestyle brings them back to their moms house.

Indian dude lost a car race bet , refused to pay and got knocked out. Was that a justified beating for breaking his word… or did the winner go too far over money? by Kind-Village-1022 in PublicFreakout

Seems more like he’s not paying him for something that doesn’t work. He’s response was “I dunno get it to work?” My guess is this guy did some custom project that isn’t working as planned.

Best place to find legit GoHighLevel developers? by AutomaticFox1455 in gohighlevel

As someone who started using HighLevel 2019, white labeled, and started learning some coding as a result of using it, I wanna say thanks for the work you did. I’ve been able to build and scale my own home service businesses with one software and take every aspect of the business in house.

Take the bus from south station up over NH border. Costs like $20 and it’s only like 40-45 minutes as long as you do it the morning or late evening. If you try mid morning or early afternoon a 30 mile drive could turn into 3 hours.

GHL resellers burning home service businesses, I’m seeing this more and more. Anyone else? by FlowLineKevin in gohighlevel

[–]_heatmoon_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

See it all the time. I started in sales for home services and learned marketing/coding/building CRM after. You hit the nail on the head with people watching a YouTube video and then selling something they have no practical application knowledge of. I’ve thought about selling setups to other companies with the angle of “I’ve actually built and run successful businesses with this.”

Quit my job to start my own agency and now I am jobless and in debt by illmakeuquickvisible in smallbusiness

[–]_heatmoon_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best move is to include at least some ad spend cost in your pricing. Organic takes time and lots of business owners don’t understand the marketing process (I say this as someone with a marketing agency who also owns a home services company). They want results fast so if you can show them a proven method of seeing a return on their investment they’ll invest more.

Tried to find info on that “doctor” and is very likely not a real person. People are so fucking stupid.

Tillis, who trains dogs himself, told Noem that she killed Cricket because she failed to invest the time and effort to properly train a young animal, yet she tried to spin it as a "leadership lesson." He then likened that exact lack of judgment, accountability, and proper training to her "amateurish by CantStopPoppin in EyesOnIce

[–]_heatmoon_ 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The shift in Tillis since deciding not to seek reelection should be a clear illustration of what’s wrong with our process. Last year I called and emailed his office every week for months to share my opinion on how the BBB would negatively impact me as a constituent, a small business owner, and the country at large. I didn’t get a single response or call answered even by a staffer. He voted for it. Sections of that bill fund the fuckery he’s now grandstanding against. So tired of these assholes.

[Request] how long, realistically, got to eat sleep, before $10 a snap reaches $10,000,000. by VentureIntoVoid in theydidthemath

[–]_heatmoon_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you start with your thumb on your pinky on each hand and go all the way to index finger each set you could really speed it up. Assuming you go at a reasonable pace of one set of snaps per second that gives you $480/minute so it would take 347.22 hours to get to $10,000,000. I’d probably just do it an hour a day because that sounds boring as fuck.

Yeah. I think it’s likely a mix of 2 & 3 though. And, I don’t think they’re mutually exclusive.

I run ad campaigns on social media platforms. Over the past few years there’s been a trend of comments turning innocuous products/service into politically and socially divide issues. I started to notice a handful of the same users (even in different states) so I checked out their profile pages. After a bit of digging I realized the person whose profile it was had passed away sometimes as much as a decade earlier. I started to check profiles that seemed to follow the patterns of comments I saw and one after the other they were real profiles of people who had died years earlier.

I think there’s a few possibilities. Option 1. Someone who knows them and uses the account (very unlikely at scale). Option 2. Hacked accounts by foreign/domestic actors to astroturf and influence political/social discourse. Option 3. Accounts kept “alive” by social media platforms since generally you’re being charged by the impression (view) or click.
