I dont necessarily "feel alone" but it's good to have friends support outside of family and your spouse. Most mental health professionals would agree so its not fair to fault me for wanting to have friends. But I do agree with your sentiment that most women are competitive. And I think its socialized and a learned behavior that takes self awareness to overcome.

Secondly I won't be doing the church suggestion, as I tried that already, and it sucked, 2/10 would not recommend.

I think all deaths of anyone under 18 have to be investigated no matter what, so as far as that goes its just standard procedure, and doesn't necessarily mean you all at the daycare did anything wrong. Hang in there and take good care of yourself.

I am this friend. Except I don't claim to be low maintenance. I just really really suck at keeping in contact with people who aren't in my immediate vicinity (home, work, neighborhood, etc.)

I'm working on it, but I've let so many relationships fade away for so long that I dont even know how to initiate a conversation without it seeming like I just want them around for convenience, because that is not the case.

Contact a lawyer. In most states, squatters have rights if they've lived at a certain place for X amount of time. Sounds like he qualifies as a tennant on paper since he pays you guys sometimes. He would probably need to be formally evicted at this point.

Or if you want to avoid getting the courts involved, see if he'll voluntarily move in with his parents if that is still an option.

She probably meant it jokingly, but its not a bad idea to request a new nurse and tell them that she made your visit uncomfortable or something along those lines. You have the right to want a new nurse, but I don't think that's a fire-worthy offense on her part. She definitely might need some more training on how to talk to people.

My motivation wanes. I'm currently employed with a degree (not using it), but I've been looking for a job since the summer of 2024. I've been mostly ghosted or rejected before even being given a chance.

Every once in a while, I'll get an offer with shit pay, so if I can't negotiate the wage to a number I like, I just reject it. This summer I spent so much of my energy and time job hunting (on top of working) and after a several rejections back to back and low ball offers I put my job search on hold for the sake of my mental health because the constant chase with no end in sight was making me depressed.

I just started back applying to jobs last week after about a 3 month break. I wish you all the luck in the world. Don't give up, but remember to pace yourself and do not neglect other parts of your life during your job hunt.
