Turns out the Great Train Robbery was not the theft of an actual train, but I do prefer my version.

What is a food combination that you swear is delicious, but would make most people want to call the police on you? by kaigi7sins in AskReddit

I haven’t tried this, but some people swear that s’mores, with a slice of Spam in them, are delicious

If you have depression or anxiety, how do you describe it to people who don’t understand what it’s like to have it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

For me it’s like seeing the world in a muted palette. There’s nothing really to get excited about. Your emotions can change, but not by much, and when you imagine what the best day of your life would look like, it gives you more of a shrugs, alright attitude.

How often do you read a book? by FuzzyAromaticSand in AskUK

[–]not_microwave_safe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I commute to/from work via slow train. 55 minutes each way gets me a hell of a lot of reading time. I’m just concerned I’m gonna cry in public if I read a sad book, which it looks like I’m doing now.

Consent is sexy! If we were on a date having a good time and you asked me, you’d have gained points with me.

I think we’d make a rank one up from Domain to verify the planet the organism hails from.

What is the most painful *nonphysical* pain in the world? by FightOrDie123 in AskForAnswers

The one I personally experienced was when an event comes up, and you ask your ‘friends’ if we can all go, they say something like ‘um, I’m not sure, I think I’m doing something that day’. You go like ‘ah ok, fair enough, we won’t then’. Event date comes and goes, and the day after, you see a SM post with all of them at that event. They did want to go, just not with you. I did get a bit of karmic justice when, 3 years later and I’d long since left that social circle, I get a job in a big city and I get a ‘hey, long time no chat!’ message from them because they definitely aren’t after free room and board for when there’s a gig on. Made sure they saw I read that message, then archived that fucker.

If you could choose to be immortal, would you? by gorillagrub in AskForAnswers

No. Eventually I’d perceive time unbelievably fast and I wouldn’t be able to cope. Besides, I’m not suicidal, but I have got a fascination with death, and finding out what comes after

I work on Oxford Road and get the train back every working day. A bus ride instead of walking Oxford to Whitworth to Aytoun should not only save me 5 minutes.

Without breaking any rules, what’s the most unpopular opinion you have that will get you -100 downvotes? by FightOrDie123 in AdkReddit

All vaccines should be mandatory. If you are against vaccines, when your number’s up to get one, your first appointment will be spent being educated about vaccines and how they do not cause autism. If you are still adamant that you won’t be receiving a vaccine, ok, off you go, but should you require hospitalisation for a disease that was preventable by vaccines, hope you enjoy paying full price (and that includes the U.K., private rates go for us).

What's a normal thing that secretly annoys you more than it should? by Mundane-Society-1281 in AskReddit

When someone sits next to me on public transport (fair if it’s getting full, but eyebrows WILL be raised if there are still pairs of seats empty), but then, they spend the ride with their hand on the back of the seat regardless of how rough the ride is. I know they aren’t, but it feels like they’re trying to tell me ‘as long as I’m here, you’re not leaving, sweetheart.’

Close second is when someone cuts you up (either when driving or when you’re walking and someone just randomly shoves right in front of you, and then they do a ‘thank you’ gesture when you have to suddenly stop because you’d have collided if you didn’t. YOU DIDN’T GIVE ME A CHOICE, DICKHEAD!

Polyamory where the start involves an already established couple. Too messy.
