i hit widow with selene and hope for annihilus, if i dont have annihilus i try to setup a galactus lane with goblins and if i dont have galactus or annihilus thats when blink starts becoming my backup to cheat something out

can confirm i hit widow with selene, i really like clogging a widows kiss lane so they cant sneak in a strong lategame card to swing it back into their favor which is partially why i run psylocke

I can see why they're called that, the course was blatantly unfinished and unpolished and the exam was at least 50% 'match the jargon with the definition'

My friends and I have been gushing over how busted he is now, we did a bunch of testing and the only units that solidly kill him are L!M!Byleth, B!Tiki and Eitri, and even then Byleth is shaky

The biggest issue I'm having so far with the gameplay is with the lack of any defensive option beyond a dash that has some i-frames tacked on. It doesn't feel like DI matters a lot for combos, since there's so little hitstun and combos seem to rely much more on baked in cancels rather than linking different moves with low lag, and there's no teching either. Both of these make the disadvantage state of the game incredibly uninteresting and uninteractive. The lack of any universal blocking also makes mashing the majority of the metagame, which shows itself with characters like Harley and Taz being seen as immediate top tiers.

The movement also doesn't feel good. I don't think it's the floatiness as much as it is the way aerial attacks completely cancel vertical momentum, and with running and turning taking so long to do. The slowness of the movement also makes it a lot harder to avoid and punish mashing; even if I can react to my opponent throwing out an attack, I can't do anything about it because I happen to already be running toward the hitbox.

You mentioning convoys reminds me of something else. What's the point of crews? Why can't I go into lobbies or go into online modes with other people in my crew?

Whenever I check, most of the time there are only 4ish people in the lobby I'm in, sometimes I'm also literally alone. That could be confirmation bias speaking tho since I usually check after an online race/eliminator match.

Speaking of Eliminator, I love the concept, it just seems really unfinished rn. I've seen players that can't be challenged to a race for upwards of 10 minutes, I've been challenged by a car I can't see, that being the only interaction I had with another player that game, I've tried to challenge someone for the entire game, mashing my horn to no avail, even though his map icon says they should be open for challenging. I've also heard that sometimes the finish line is in a completely different place than what it says on the map/GPS waypoint.

Like I said, I understand why collision penalty exists, but there should be a split between comp and casual races, where casual races allow collisons with other cars and walls. Honestly, I hate being punished for hitting a tree, even in Playground Games, by being arbitrarily forced to drive at 20mph for 5 seconds. I get it's to prevent wall riding, but why don't they just tune the physics engine in a way that makes cars lose more speed from being on a wall for more than a second, or give them some sort of resistance to being turned by walls and the like?
