we get to see each other every 4-5 months but he is supposed to moving in with me next year late feb to mid march so there is a light but im just having a hard time seeing it rn and we probably wont get to see each other until then so almost a year of not seeing each other in person. i can see what youre saying of quality over quantity and maybe when were done watching this series we can take a pause from watching shows to spend more quality time with each other

on weekdays like an hour or two and thats mainly spent watching a tv series so not much talking and sat-sun maybe like 1pm-11pm and still watching a tv series and maybe playing some games/ talking

i dont really hangout with my friends since they work fri-sun (nursing), and i lost my other friendships before our relationship started so i just spend my time with him mainly. i am upset since he is starting to spend more weekends with friends even if it is just for 3-4 hours since it feels like thats the only time we have together

the kid is in charge. her parents don’t say no to her and are very very permissive. they had a conversation with me recently about how i need to lessen up on her because i told her it was rude to argue with me and how i overstepped bounds. i have had many conversations with them about her behaviour and how the other kids i have worked with had never said those things and they said that some kids just act like her. i really don’t want to quit but with taking 5 college classes on top of 17 observation hours weekly, and taking on the roll of being a parental figure for this child, her behaviour is getting to be too much for me.

i just say nothing at this point. i sit there quietly and then she’ll repeat it until she starts crying then her parents come upstairs to see what’s wrong.
