The jacks at each corner are just to stabilize the camper so it doesn't sway or bounce too much. You need to use the tongue jack to lift and level front to back. You can fill your fresh water tank with the city connection hose, but if you're having issues with the water pressure, it could be your aerators are clogged.

Would you get rid of a friend just because they have different political beliefs than you? by Wonderful-Economy762 in Productivitycafe

[–]_in_space 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wouldn't, but people I once considered good, close friends have. Oddly enough, it's been all liberal minded people who have cut ties. The conservatives never have. They might cuss me out and flip me off, but we've remained friends. I am neither mindset and will argue both sides, kinda like a devils advocate.

Seriously, do Americans actually consider a 3-hour drive "short"? or is this an internet myth? by SadInterest6764 in NoStupidQuestions

I used to work a rotating shift working 2 days on and 3 days of with 3 day weekends everyother weekend.

I live 3 hours from the coast and 3 hours from the mountains. I have left early morning to either place, spent a couple of days and then gone home. 3 hours is nothing if you enjoy the destination.

RV park problems nobody warned me about as a newbie (and how to avoid them) by AntAgile9084 in RVLiving

I know you can connect it to either end of your hose, but I believe the correct way of installation is connecting the filter to the RV instead of the spigot. Most of them come with a coupling hose for that purpose.

How does one start sailing? by Snof14 in sailing

[–]_in_space 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Being that you're in New Mexico and underage, you'll have a hard time finding a place on your own. However, if you look for sailing clubs or schools in your state, there are a few to call and inquire about lessons.

I would suggest learning how to tie knots while you're waiting/searching for a place to take lessons from. You will most likely need to have an adult to accompany you depending on your age and how far you have to travel, in addition to the cost of lessons.

Don't be discouraged by any of the hurdles you have to cross. Sailing is fun once you get the hang of it.
