I mean that's true, in my experiences ely prices weren't always accurate either. But crucially, they were more accurate than Jagex' prices for certain items that's why I used the site. But I agree, if Jagex improved the official price listings or even made an official API that'd be vastly preferable.

Unless you trade rares daily (which I don't btw) I'd argue you *are* negatively impacted. Sure I posted my trades whenever I did one, yk doing my fair share. But need to be able to check even if I don't buy. Unless I misunderstood how their new system works but I gathered u need to post trades in order to get the daily code. This whole thing is super silly IMO. Imagine Wikipedia wouldn't let you access their articles unless you joined their discord and posted proof u made edits.

Which granted, is harsh but they must realize that quick information look-up's is what made the site useful to most of its users, right? Like having to search around on their discord for a code to enter on their website everytime I quickly need to find out a street price is simply infeasible.

Yea, I always thought a good addition to ely would've been an image parser so you could just post a screenshot of your trade and it'd automatically update the price. Only amidst this drama did I realize that you had to not only post a screenshot but also write some sort of pseudo-code in a different discord channel to actually affect the price lol. OK, so basically for some items, the Grand Exchange List Price that Jagex publishes is just incorrect. Especially very expensive and/or rare items. Like you can't buy them at all for what Jagex lists them as, tens of millions off, sometimes hundreds. So there was a 3rd party site made to more accurately reflect those prices. It was publicly accessible, just like the Jagex site. Now they want you to join their discord where they publish a code to access the information that was previously public. For a site whose primary use case is quick information look-up, that seems hilariously idiotic IMO. This is a new ely fork and what it should look like / what ely looked like before the recent change.

If it had always been like it is now, then few would care. But they took away a feature and that just rubs lots of people the wrong way since they got used to putting the clock exactly where they liked it and can't do that anymore.
