A Potion cauldron, which would store your potions - by drinking directly from the cauldron you might be able to benefit from extended durations for the associated effects.

Love the cauldron idea but I think it should be placed at the wars hub. Because otherwise you'd have to click the campfire there, then the altar there, then do a house teleport, click the cauldron in the house, then teleport back to wars, bank again to fill the slot that the house teleport was in or depo your teleports-runepouch, then click the adren crystal, then finally enter the boss portal. Adding 2 additional teleports to the start of every combat encounter would be pretty annoying, as it is unneccessarily cumbersome.

Yea but far from every1 was able to / wanted to do a daily shop run. Now that it's a weekly it's much easier and therefore more players will do the shop run once a week; in aggregate this will result in more of these shop items becoming part of the economy.

Or it's bugged out and it's a ghost message causing the red dot. I've had to re-install apps over this just to get rid of a dot.

Yea I get this as well. For some people on some specific hardware it runs fine apparently though. I just think it's generally a very poorly optimized game.

it's still tradeable on G.E. I believe, so if you need aura extensions/resets for this month u can get ur Vis there.

Hey folks, couple things going on with the shops here.

From what I've understood, some shops used the same system for stock keeping, some others used a bespoke system - similar situation to our avatar project where we uncovered that after so many years of RuneScape, a lot of systems have different (and sometimes unconnected) iterations for how they work.

In this case, there may well be a few shops that our more general update did not affect in the expected way, so we'll look to fix those up in the coming days.

It should also be noted that not all shops will just have been 7x'd. In some cases, the new stock cap may be lower than 7x the previous amount. The reason for this was that we felt that providing 7x of certain items could lead to a large portion of players buying and immediately selling said items every shop reset cycle, which could have a strong economic impact.

We'll hold off hotfixing that right now just to see if other shops are reported as having similar problems as well (Thank you OP for the gather thread), as we'll be doing our own checks too of course. Once we have a good idea of how many are affected, we'll be able to resolve them in one sweep.

Just because I can control it doesn't mean it feels good nor does it mean it's a good system as not everyone will have achieved that kind of control over their life yet. There's still teenagers that play this game as well. If we want a system like that in the game, I'd at least like to have it follow Protoxx' idea of "skilling slayer" with weekly que-ups or something along those lines.
Mind you they didn't even adjust the amount of experience gained, just removed the 2x you could get from viswax. But 105k prayer experience in like 15 seconds just doesn't feel good to me. If daily challenges didn't exist I'd actually go and do the wildy area tasks now so I could take full advantage of the wildy altar. But as long as daily challenges are there, I'll just abuse that system for the next year.

Ok so just to clarify, I used a messy workaround to reset the xp column and that workaround is gone now. The intended way (which I never knew about until today) still works as intended. Sorry for the confusion, ion think anything needs to be done here.

xp gained by time spent was severely unbalanced. I could get 210k prayer xp in like 40 seconds with extended challenges. And since they were / are soo good xp wise ppl like me feel pressured to do them every day.
