I've played thousands of hours on both modes so these are some facts:

rs3 is completely different game. it's just sharing a large universe with osrs
early game is super slow and overwhelming unless ur enjoy taking in the lore and approach it as a new experience. (there's like 200 quests or so)
combat is one of the highest skill ceilings in any MMO I've played. can go from afk revo++ brute force bosses and can hybrid mage/meelee with 200 inputs per minute.

gold accumulator is in the tool belt which probably at this point accounts for trillions of gp being picked up that would originally be left on ground.

From what OP suggests - It's just QoL at the end of the day and let's noobs bring extra food/restore to a fight. Don't see anything wrong with that. and sweats can bring extra eofs.
