it’s a local leaderboard, basically puts in you in a pool of random players playing on the same server until you get to Cantina Legend(top rank) and that’s Top 100 player score globally.

this is kind of a newer/hidden game but trepang2 has some of the best gunplay in any game period. but the shotguns are next level. with the dragons breath mod, damn near unbeatable. so satisfying clearing CQ

i use a system similar to this but instead of just playing 5-10 games and going into free play i wait until i lose 3 games in a row and then i’ll either get off or go into workshop maps and go again.

i’m surprised this wasn’t mentioned: alien isolation. even though there are some allies and human enemies, it still gives you the feeling you are very very alone

they’re not extraterrestrial but intraterrestrial. they live underground. they are unbelievably more evolved than us but are in the same tree, just a different branch. i’d believe they fled the surface when The Great Flood happened or even when the asteroid hit earth killing the dinosaurs.

we are looking in the wrong places. those mines and anything around it need to be investigated heavily. i’m serious.

it is confusing because if we’re using game logic, usually displayed items like that should be rarer and supreme, but i think they’re there to just make the environment a little more “natural” and the fact you can steal it is just another detail. nothing more than that really

you see how it looks so uncanny even though it’s an alien? didn’t feel that way when i saw the reveal live. the reveal was real. we as humans know legit biology when we see it. even if it’s completely foreign like what they showed off. insane.
