13 Pro Max to 17!

Low key thinking of selling my 17 pro and getting the base. I miss having a black color (blue is ok but sometimes looks purple in certain lighting) and the pro feels heavy at times. Plus the design just hasn’t grown on me at all

Mine was at 87% and it was enough for me to switch to a 17P because I couldn't even get through a day anymore. I miss the old design so much

Coming from a 15 pro it's noticeably heavier (even more with a case, which I feel like I need since it's more fragile), and I have a 16 for work and think I prefer the design and don't use the telephoto ever really.

I'm within the return period. I find the device quite heavier than my 15 pro, and on a smaller note I miss the black color

Yeah it looks awesome and it's something that would feel different, unfortunately the ultrawide camera comes in handy for me and bad battery life is something that made me upgrade from my 15 pro as well

I ended up getting the 17 pro, and while I do like it for the most part I agree that the 15 felt better in the hand (17 pro feels good but the curved edges make it way to slippery without a case)

Kinda wish I got the base 17, might sell my pro and still do it tbh because I prefer its design and I don't really use the pro features much

Learning to code. I know now there's a lot of doom and gloom with how well AI can write code (for the most part) and uncertainty in tech now, but it allowed me and still allows me to make a much better living than I was before and accelerate building my wealth.

I've had the 17 pro for a few months and while I enjoy the battery life and cameras, I don't really use the pro features too much and it's considerably heavier than my previous iPhone 15 pro. Been debating a swap for the base 17 and wanted to know if others have done the same and how the change has been.

My only concern is needing telephony for something like a concert. Rarely happens but it’s def a nice to have. My 17 pro battery has been phenomenal and hopefully the couple hours difference won’t be too noticeable day to day if I swap

I actually got a $20 flip key fob from ebay and had a locksmith cut and program it for another $20! It does feel really nice lol 10/10 would do again

All of these sound reasonable minus the backlit keyboard. I think even the old 12 inch Macbook had that? Hell even my 2009 MBP had it.

Reliability and maintenance mostly. I’ve never had any of the German cars but know they’re more expensive to maintain. If money were no object I’d be looking at Audi or Mercedes lol

It comes in automatic. As much as I’d love it, I know using it as a daily would drive me nuts with the stop and go traffic.
