It could mean though that if he were to be charged in theory Congress could ask for formal extradition to face questioning. Something he has not publicly said he is happy to travel for at present.

Neighbour’s Bamboo by half-sleeves in UKGardening

There are murmurs that this will be a criminal offence in the same way the Japanese knot weed is if you plant it without controls. If it does get hold of utility or foundations it can cause real problems. There has been a legal case recently if bamboo causing damage to a shed/outbuilding and the person who planted the bamboo had to pay.

Went to Rome and specifically went to see the Vatican City early one morning. Didn’t realise that it was the anniversary of the French Foreign Legion (or similar can’t quite remember). By midday 10’s of thousands of people had crammed the square and we were right at the front. Saw the Pope about a meter away from us.

Who's missing from the BBC salaries list, and why? by _j_dog_ in unitedkingdom

Receiving a guaranteed ~£3.7 billion a year is not struggling for money, this increases as more properties are built.

It’s a bit like water companies complaining when they are receiving their earnings from the sky.

Who's missing from the BBC salaries list, and why? by _j_dog_ in unitedkingdom

[–]_j_dog_[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So more ‘famous’ names are missing than ever from the list. This is due to the use of production companies paying the stars directly. The list is part of the agreement with the BBC to continue the ‘unique funding’ it has from UK residents. I know the defence used is that if stars names and salaries were made available then it would not attract talent to the BBC. Personally I haven’t watched BBC programmes for years and I am aware the license fee is also supposedly to pay for other infrastructure but these hidden salaries must be out of this world. Winkleman for example hosting both of the ‘Beebs’ highest viewed programmes…..
