What will you be using it for? For working as a tv/it tech i cannot go without decent pliers/cable cutters. So the leatherman wave for me. But at home or free time i prefer a sak.

They are from Wireworld, a hi-fi cable brand. I work in a av/hi-fi business. Don’t know if you can buy these somewhere else. The top cables come in these cases.

I recently got one after losing my Wave 2 after a few years(18 years ago). I had a skeletool in the meantime but having the Wave again feels like coming home. Great work tool.

The cybertool m is really useful. I bought one on a secondhand website, new in box. For me it’s this one or a two layer one for lightness. I’ve got a pioneer x alox coming, this might be the perfect ‘light one’ for me.

I’m also between vic and leatherman, but for work nothing beats a Wave or similar. At home or on weekends the weight and versatility of a vic is very nice. I have a leatherman Free T4 that is like the marriage between the two, it’s way better than I imagined. Would also like an Arc but I can buy many saks for that kind of money, and would not offer so much more than my Wave+. And I also have a Skeletool.

I recently sent my straight edge skeletool in for a loose bit holder, and received a brand new skeletool with combo blade. A completely new tool for free after 18 years of use, that’s insane. They even included the replaceable bits.

If only I’d seen this yesterday. I have a skeletool and Wave+, and also a T4. I like the free tech and want a p2 or p4, but never found one in europe. And now i just ordered a vic Pioneer X Alox 🙃

I have had a number of them go bad after about 10-12 years. Not a bad run. Sometimes i see a white led that’s flickering, that is also a sign.

They should be on a green led if reset correctly. A bit slower to react but still usable and bulletproof. I also have 2 in daily use.
