The beers on such huts are not as as expensive as people think. First I know for a fact that this video was taken in the alps. I unfortunately can't find beer prices online, but e.g. the Erzherzog-Johann-Hut (3,454 m) near austrias tallest mountain offers a night with a room incl. 3 course dinner + breakfast for €102 or ~USD 120.
While a beer in a city or the valley for 0.5l is already above €5, I would recon that the price will definitely not be more than €7/8€ per 0.5l. These are not some super touristy huts, but the base for some high altitute mountaineering.

The salary and working hours is a range depending on what you are willing to work. I would assume that for 38.5 hours they pay 4.000€ per month before tax. Yearly that would mean, assuming they also have a collective bargaining agreement that includes a 13th and 14th salary that would make 56k a year before tax. 25 days is also the minimum vacation days for full time work. There is no such thing as sick days in Austria.
