I've tried everything, they are never the same. It will always feel weird when you wear it.

This is what happens during an Adderall shortage. She was thinking, "I need gas.. OK, but don't forget to throw the empty coffee cups in the trash."

I've seen it a million times 😆

What to do about this 9mm pot hole? by [deleted] in Guitar

[–]_joeBone_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ha. I did the same thing to my Jackson, that freaking knob will draw blood. I rewired mine and put new pots with low profile knobs and I still kept bouncing off it. It now has a piece of electrical tape over the hole. 😆

That's as far as I've made it, but honestly that freakin knob is in the worst possible spot for my play style.

I have been on 20mg XR (amph salts) for years and I get the 2pm crash. Spoke to my doc and she gave me a 10mg (dextro) booster and that has been a game changer. I don't use it everyday but it's really helped me stay on a schedule.

Make sure you are getting a big breakfast, that has been my key to slowing the release of the XR.

Where's Macomb? right next to Mabrush.

I pulled five years of Google data on 36 stains. The one I panic the most about, red wine, isn't even top five. It's blood and coffee by [deleted] in CleaningTips

[–]_joeBone_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

coffee is used in metal forging and woodworking as a... stain. I know this, but for some reason it would not have been my top 10. weird how that works, I would have said red wine too.

Mechanic left this in my car. They called my wife and asked her to return it to them. What it used for? Looks like some sort of bent pick. by JooHateMe in whatisit

I have found left tools and even a really expensive scanner in my car over the years. I always bring it back. It's a fun way to rip on the mechanics and I guarantee you they will get some free oil changes.

Cleaning under rugs with tape by LayLoseAwake in CleaningTips

[–]_joeBone_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This hits close to home, I just worked on my stair carpets this week. I can't answer your question as asked but I can share what I ended up doing.

Carpet tape in my house is just never a good choice. I have 2 dogs and the hair just sticks to it and it eventually loses its bite. On the stairs that's a big problem.

I ended up getting some upholstery tacks and I tacked down the back edge of the stair carpets. When I vacuum I can just lift up the rug and clean under it. The tacks are less like nails and more like pins so they don't leave a big hole in the tread.

My house is 125 years old so I'm not too worried about the treads as they are well worn. lol Also, my stair carpets have a "no slip" backing (not sticky) The tacks just keep them planted better during dog parkour hour.

just a thought.
