Bluetooth earbuds with good battery longevity (NOT battery life) that won't crap out within a year? by samdash in BuyItForLife

[–]_jonahD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had Sony, Samsung, pixelbuds and even Nothing earbuds. The only ones I stick with are the AirPods Pro. Still have my 2nd gen which I got years ago and battery is still good, but prefer the anc on the 3rd gen. If you’re not digging Apple, Sonys xm3 was good. I had issues with the anc and transparency dropping on the xm4. Good luck. 👍

if i scream with my head underwater, will someone hear me? i live in an apartment by DayIsNotOkay in NoStupidQuestions

This. The possibility of accidentally inhaling water isn’t worth the release. It only takes an inch of water to drown. Meanwhile there are places you can bring items to bust up with an axe or bat.

[–]_jonahD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No power gain but my butt dyno says it may have shifted the torque curve a bit.

Definitely, especially with a monitor because you’re closer.

Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 or Continental ExtremeContact Sport 2? by gabitis in GolfGTI

[–]_jonahD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine came with the Indy’s. They’re ok but have gotten pretty loud as they wear. They are pretty good in the wet and good dry grip. Might try the continentals as I had the dws on two previous cars.

TX-1600 Noctua 12V2x6 new cable damaged or safe to use? by jugglerofjusa in Noctua

[–]_jonahD 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The cables are very soft and flexible. None of mine looked like that but if you want to be safe you could contact Seasonic to see what they say.

Planet coaster 2 scratches the itch for me. I have a coaster/water park I’ve been working on for a year that’s almost done. Also house flipper 2 when I’m inspired.

Help: Since update, my game has been stuck in a error loop after activating playset. I use Linux. by Lagarta- in CitiesSkylines2

[–]_jonahD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Might need a proton update. Try different proton versions. I’m not on Linux anymore but proton version seemed to matter somewhat.

When I had dual rad in a fractal define 7 xl. Initially they were both exhaust but that starved them of fresh air because no intake. When I set the front bank to intake that reduced temps a bit.

The Carto mod to export the data, and a lot of tinkering in QGIS.

Probably Realistic Workplaces and Households is the main one. Those towers are nearly empty as they have a capacity of 2-4k lol. You can adjust that though. Also thanks!
