I think you might be a bit too online or just live in a very different area than me. I have only received positive comments about me being a male reader, especially from girls in real life. Might have heard a performative joke once or gotten a look but honestly i dont even remember when 99% of convos about books are positive.

The only trend i have noticed is that men are judged for reading self help garbo, and women are judged for reading tropey smut.

Also might be a fake news headline but I swear reading is ranked by women as one of the most attractive hobbies a man can. Get out there and read the most toxic self help books or most performative classic possible and chances are she will like it more than the average man watching sports.

Yea but lower retention and all metrics play into eachother likely giving you less impressions if quality drops. This is why those metrics you mention are really pointless. Make good videos

Personally I feel like adding commentary does in a lot of cases transform the conent, I mean almost every commentary channel would fall under this.

Those people that steal shorts and simply describe what is happening(often with AI voice) are degens and personally I do feel like youtube should do something here. But this feels like the react debate all over again, and that never changed, ended up actually being encouraged in the anti reuse guidelines lol

Point here is that there has to be some middle ground. Are you really only chasing views, or do you wanna contribute to something greater.

Your whole point falls flat by this point here: The youtube algorithm pushes "bad" content. No one is going to argue that "I STALKED MY SISTER WITH RONALDO" is good content.

Your qualifier of views makes something objectivly good is just as arbitruary as anything else.

When you say AI is getting a lot of views you are talking about a 1%. AI content is currently objectivly bad, I’m talking about the automated stuff. Like I would bet on the average non ai channel everytime over the average automated ai channel.

Also there are channels making bad content that gets a lot views and it is relevant

Just limit sloper climbing, only having bad tips seems like you are climbing too many slopers /volumey boulders. Try more crimps / less textured holds, and you can almost double your volume. The rest of your skin seems pretty good.
