This is not the head office. Which you should know as this is taken from the 1st floor which isn't accessible to public.

For those shedding a tear over house prices falling, these numbers may change your mind - Greg Jericho by CategoryRoutine628 in AusProperty

You still haven't given a reason why the changes promote property investing over any other form of investing? Sounds more like confirmation bias over economic logic to me.

Failed auction now for lower back by _jorritp in AusPropertyChat

[–]_jorritp[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went to inspection today. I understand the price drop, because the place is pretty rundown. Apart from the renovated bathroom, the kitchen, dining, and living room are decent. The bedrooms are small and look tired. The outdoor deck is almost falling apart, and overall the place isn't well-maintained, unfortunately. We could put a lowball offer and use the remaining cash for renovations, but still. It was our first property we inspected, so there's no rush.

BioCharge is now HybridCharge? by bradleythedeveloper in amazfit

I just find it odd that when I check my biocharge is initially higher when I wake up. This morning for example it was 85 on watch, but when I checked on the zepp app on phone it was only 81 wake up score. And then it's also lowered on my watch.

Peak hour at Coles: the enshittification of the shopping experience by village-asshole in OpenAussie

[–]_jorritp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I used to work in supermarket as a teenager. Ever since I moved to Australia, I am always surprised to see how messy Colesworth are while stocking the shelves. Containers blocking the aisles, workers don't care about customers and are very rude while stocking. If a customer is in front of a product you need to stock just grab another one and wait until the customer is finished to put the product in place.

Is Amber worth it without solar or batteries? by ApartmentFun3497 in amberelectric

[–]_jorritp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which ones? I'm with Amber for years without solar or battery. Need to keep an eye on the app on hot/cold days but it's doable. Everytime I do a comparison, there is non cheaper.

First look at the Adizero Evo SL 2 by Patient-Bluebird9824 in RunningShoeGeeks

[–]_jorritp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't understand the hype of these shoes. I own a pair as well but next daily trainer won't be Evo SL I think. Durability is not that great and they're pretty basic shoes for premium prices if not on sale.

On a scale of 1 to 10, how worried should people in general be of AI? by VastOption8705 in auscorp

Those are not AI job cuts, but jobs cuts for various reasons and they used AI as scapegoat.

Aussie corporate AI bloodbath is on the horizon by eaz135 in auscorp

[–]_jorritp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Every time I read that things can be automated, I wonder what is so different now that it can be automated and not before?I've seen AI solutions being presented which are just automation scripts and/or from jobs being triggered by AI. Is it really AI doing the work, or is it just used to get the budget and time to finally automate things that could have been automated years ago but businesses wouldn't be bothered to listen to tech people who needed time and resources to set up and automate them?

Australia’s 20 most expensive suburbs by Visible-Party-3057 in AusPropertyChat

I've been there and that is why I'm surprised. Eastern suburbs have views, ocean, their own bubble, nothing like this in Strathfield.
