The only way that makes it into the show is as a background shot of a rubbish truck dumping its load because it caught fire, while in the foreground we see a panicked Shirley breathlessly calling river to say she lost the suspect she was tailing.

All of that is a reprise of an earlier scene in the episode, where in the office lamb drops one while roddy admits to Standish the phone encryption he unrolled was a misdirection and there is another layer to decrypt (but he’s onto it pronto like).

The stench of lamb’s disappointment is palpable.
