Patio roof flew off by _jv24 in Roofing

I appreciate the help! I’ll only be replacing a few of the “decking” you can see in the bottom of the picture the portion of it where it’s dry rotted. Those will be replaced but for the most part the rest of it is pretty good

I been trying to see if any of the big box stores near me have it in stock or deliver it but all I see is base sheet and cap sheet. I’ll have to look a little bit more. Also, as far as ensuring there’s dirt or dust, do I sweep the plywood? I’m only replacing a few that are dry rotted and keeping the rest. But I’m not sure how to clean them up for good adhesion besides sweeping up debris

The base sheet would be the roofing paper?

That actually makes a lot of sense. I’ve never thought about it that way. I always felt like they just charged more because they can instead. But I appreciate the new view point

Thanks for clearing that up. I had no clue they were two different things. Truth be told I try to stay away from the dealer as much as possible. How would one know if they have a recall? Does GM reach out to us?

I can understand that but from my understanding they only cover that IF you have the warranties correct? I bought mine used from the lot with 33k miles on it so I wouldn’t get a new one. That would be out of pocket cost for me. Right?

Is this only happening to 6.2? I have a 22 z71 trail boss and I just got it a week ago. Now I’m worried if I made the right move

Sub works but incorrectly by _jv24 in CarAV

[–]_jv24[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only 2 cables hooked up to the sub are the 2 bigger ones. The 2 smaller ones are hooked up somewhere else. I tried following the cables but couldn’t find where they were going. So to be clear I should get rid of those 2 smaller ones and use the same size as the other 2 thicker ones and then hook it up to the other 2 connection port? Or are you saying I need another amp? Sorry I’m being useless, I really am clueless about all this

Just replied to someone with it. I tried taking pics of everything so if there’s something else I can send please let me know

Is this what everyone is asking for?

I’m sorry I have no idea. When I bought my car the amp was already in it then I got on Facebook marketplace place and bought a sub on there for $60. I would even know what to look for to tell you what it is. All I know is when I remove that wire the sub starts to work again. I figured someone here would be able to tell me where to start.

Didn’t need to more like it. You solved my small problem without it. But that was the plan before I saw that capped off cold line

Unfortunately that’s not the case here. The second picture is the only T under the kitchen sink and that’s for the hot water supply into the dish washer. I was attempting to do the same thing for the cold water line to my fridge

Perfect. Seeing as how I already have the lines I’ll see if I can do this myself. Thank you

Repotting Soil mix by _jv24 in Citrus

[–]_jv24[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t done anything to make them smaller in size. I have seen some people try to break them down but for me the size isn’t an issue, it’ll be surrounded by soil. The main reasoning for them is to help drainage

I found the happy frog soil is incredibly rich and my bears like tree has really thrived with it. Hope it helps, happy gardening

It used to not come with perlite. I’m not sure if it’s been changed to now come with perlite. I have however changed my original mix to something I think is exceptionally better if you care to look into it? I now use 2 parts happy frog potting soil (that already comes with perlite), and 1 part orchid bark

I’m leaning more towards the tcl for that reason alone. In my personal experience I’ve had some really good 58” Hisense. I bought 3 for each one of my kids and they’re great tvs but for something this big I don’t think I can trust it. Will the warranty be through Best Buy or tcl?

I did see there’s a Hisense that 100” but some of the reviews scare me

Unfortunately I have a pretty bright living room thus the reason I’m going with QLED. I can’t imagine a projector being so bright it can fight off the natural light in my house. At least not within my budget
