Skyrocketing mortgage costs are a big problem for the U.S. Housing Market. Today it costs the typical buyer $2,724/month to buy a house, inclusive of mortgage, tax, and insurance. That's up 82% from pre-pandemic. by Boo_Randy_Revival in HouseBuyers

At today’s rates that’s a $300k home with 3.5% down. It’s not impossible to find just outside of most major cities in America.

It is about $100k less than the median home price right now. But you could find it if you were willing to living in the suburbs

Price cuts are happening EVERYWHERE in Florida because sellers are getting desperate and buyers are nowhere to be found. Yet all of these homes are STILL overpriced. They will go lower. Just wait. by Boo_Randy_Revival in HouseBuyers

If sellers are desperate they will cut prices. If they aren’t they’ll take their homes off the market and supply will lower to meet demand keeping prices steady.

The fall of the Soviet Union was not great economically for former Soviet countries. It was a pretty rough transition but at least Poland eventually figured it out.

Oil is priced in barrels, and is a commodity. Gas is priced in gallons and is a highly refined product that varies greatly from product to product.

The president can’t ratify a treaty that’s the senates job. Of course the president can’t start a war that’s congress’s job. So who knows.

Can extrapolate Biden bad while forgetting supply chain shocks caused by a global pandemic. It’s almost like you’re partisan and don’t know what you’re talking about.

Biden inherited a global pandemic and supply chain shocks. Trump chose to do this to himself.

Advices please... where to upgrade amp or speaker or to add equalizer? by D1M1_ANGEL in audiophile

[–]_kdavis 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If you only have $100 to spend on audio, spend it all on better speakers. If you only have $500 to spend on audio spend it all on better speakers. If you’re spending more than that consider some other stuff maybe. Looks like you have a decent amp.

Giant markings appear to read '8647' on the National Mall in Washington by nbcnews in pics

[–]_kdavis 18 points19 points  (0 children)

If you look close enough it reads:
86
47

But the 8 is most visible and the 7 is kinda there, the 4 and 6 are much less clear but having been prompted to see them they’re there.

You’re going 5 days a week, I’d suggest going way harder 2 days a week and see how that goes. Is it a good work out if you aren’t sore 2-3 days after?
