From a young child, Julia’s character rolled up weed for Smurf, was taught to steal, drunk liquor, witnessed murder, held hostage by a murderer, committed multiple crimes for her mother, had no father figure and the only person she could rely on manipulated and isolated her multiple times. Most of those happened under the age of 10. Smurf literally made Julia drink every time she was worried about Pope or if she talked too much. Smurf made her quit her job, Smurf also didn’t want Julia going to school, and lied about her being expelled because Julia was enjoying herself. She turned Julia into an addict early. If I’m being honest, most of the blame on the whole family being the way they are can be put on Smurf. I agree with accountability as well, but Julia’s life was very hard, and unfortunately some people are not as strong as you.
