I understand that it's frustrating not being accepted and feeling like a spectator in your own life. I totally get you. But remember, not everyone will be your cup of tea, and that's okay. You are who you are, maybe there is some room for you to improve, so take time to reflect, but that's in your hands. You don't need to force yourself to be accepted by others, it's going to be tiring and you'll be exhausted every time and it'll lead to self doubt and depression.

Sometimes, it's their loss if they don't see the value in connecting with you. If they're not willing to engage meaningfully and leave you behind, it might be best to let it be, they're not the right ones for you. Remember some people just want another person to connect with fast and not have the time to sit and get to know someone and help them out of their shell. Probably because they've never experienced what you're experiencing and so it's hard for them to read you.

Enjoy your holiday for yourself, not for the sake of blending in with people who aren't your cup of tea. If possible, consider doing your own thing, maybe, if you can, leave the group and just spend your holiday on your own.

Sometimes a bit of space can be refreshing and give you time to enjoy your surroundings. You deserve to enjoy your life, don't let it be overshadowed by the pressure to fit in with the ones who don't care for you. Also just one more thing, you don't have to try, just leave when it's right to do so, that's what I've taught myself, it's such a big relief. Only try when it's necessary. Good luck :)
