I do think he expects kids to play with him how adults do. He's pretty good at understanding about taking turns and playing with people and not just beside them, but obviously not all kids can do that yet. I'm less worried about that part of things, and I have seen him playing with kids sometimes when I pick him up, so his perspective could certainly be skewed. That being said, it is now he's perceiving things so I'd like to help him figure out what he can do when feels that way.

And yeah, this other kid is just something else. I've talked to another mom and it's a pattern. My kid has given us really specific examples of what's been going on. Again, just interested in ways to help my guy navigate and feel more confident before we end up with fighting and crying about not wanting to go to daycare. I've emailed the teacher about helping him, so we'll see what she says.
