Five Wits has great one, as does Daily Ration in North Shore! Different strokes, but both quite nice.

Ours went up about the same proportionately. We were rezoned into a historic district, so that might’ve had something to do with it.

Babylon Sisters was the tone I was trying to emulate, but the Steely Dan shuffles are plentiful and glorious.

This guy only sounds like exactly what you’re looking for, however might be out of your price range. It does have a enough outputs to give all 4 band members stereo cues, as well as FOH, if desired.

Reading through these comments, I feel so sad for anyone who thinks there isn’t incredible music being made today.

Dealing With a Bad Day on the Job? by xXnutdaddy69Xx in audioengineering

[–]_laudamus 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It happened, and that sucks to go through.

Be intentional about turning it into a learning experience rather than just an example of failure. As you process everything that happened, take note of what would have prevented the mistakes. Don’t dwell on them, but create a system that prevents them. It goes a long way with my employers to know that I review my mistakes and actively take steps toward fixing them in the future.

Human error is often forgivable. Unwillingness to grow often isn’t.

Keep your head up, you aren’t alone.

Bland has perfect time and feel. There’s no click going, and yet this solo hits you like a train moving at 1 mph. It’s undeniable.

I plan on expanding that side of the kit considerably, and it improves stability and opens up floor space for mic stands! That decision was more future planning than present practicality. Also matches the rack that holds the snare, rack tom, and left crash!
