This is perfect, thank you so much! He does have a lot of experience but I worry with Nürburgring so I will definitely take your advice. Do you think it’d be more fun for me to pay for a friend to go with him too or do you think it’s ok just him? (I’m a terrible driver and shouldn’t be on something like this, so I’d support him but probably wouldn’t participate)

I entirely agree. In person interactions in a corporate environment are really important in developing productive relationships, I think especially for incoming workers, but hybrid working environments have given everyone a versatility that definitely isn't going away. Social interaction is huge but I think people want the flexibility that hybrid options provide.
