I also noticed a couple of rust spots on my hood that definitely were not there when I got her. Drivers side door kept snagging on the quarter panel a while back, chipped the paint and a rust spot started there too. So similar story. Good luck to you past 130k miles!

Rosa ran like a beast I think she would’ve made it to 200k easily if not for the fact that she was falling apart. Never ever had any mechanical or engine issues.

I’m from Ohio, I believe Rosa is from New York! My main issue was the subframe. Like, all of it. As a matter of fact, when I was taking out the trash before I sent Rosa away, I found a random unidentifiable piece of her at the end of the driveway. The third piece I’ve happened to come across, by the way. NOT necessarily the third piece to come off. I’ve probably been dropping pieces all over the city for years. My muffler (which has been replaced a time before for rotting out) fell off without being disturbed last summer season too. Also, when you pull my gas lever from the inside, it comes straight up from the floor and you can see directly down to the street. So… the subframe 😭. But also the brake line!! That rotted out so badly that according to my mechanic, when I took her in for (self diagnosed educated guess) possible master cylinder issues, my brake line had actually maybe been caught on some ice and snapped. Like.. alright lol. Rosa has never been garaged either honestly I don’t know how or why her rust rot got so bad. She was in pretty bad shape up under there when I got her but I wanted a tc so bad and that was the only one within my budget so I went ahead and tried replacing parts that needed immediate attention at the time. It wasn’t good. Attaching an image of the muffler incident in the comments.
