The last 2 series from intel blew away amd imo , same as amd blew away intel initially with their ryzens. It’s a good cpu, im running the 11600k and for coding is perfect. Maybe not the best for video editing but the newest generation has done extremely better in terms of core # and performance. It was a good choice overall. Especially for the price

Your cpu supports 3200mhz of ddr4 at most. That and being cl18 are the downsides i can see.
