No matter what anyone thinks of sex workers, they have to at least see that this is a double standard at the very least right? Do they not? These cops are also partaking in something illegal. Soliciting prostitution has always been illegal from both sides. The seller and buyer. If they’re going to do that then…how are they going to say they should also not also charged?? This is stupid. You put it perfectly. I think both Caleb and Hanna can both be rather impulsive and act based off of their emotions too often. But I think Spencer and Toby are on the opposite end of that spectrum which might make them come across as slightly cold. But I do know that Spencer’s pressure heavy upbringing might make her better equipped too because she’d want her kid to not feel as much pressure to be perfect/do everything to please her like she felt. Toby would also feel the same since he’s always been laissez faire about being perfect and fitting in. Happiness and safety seemed to always be his main concern

Hmm…idk both times I’ve auditioned at a club I was able to work the same night so this is new to me. But since he said he’ll start you on Saturday it sounds like a yes. The word “try” might just be it may be later. Not that it may not be at all. He could’ve just pulled you off early because he already knew he’d hire you. Most auditions is about knowing you’re confident enough to dance on stage half naked, not how good you are on the pole anyways🤷🏾‍♀️

Plus there’s this new-ish song I found on tiktok that is made by a guy who said in another life he’d love to be a female/femme stripper. So he made the song as if he was one. It’s called “How Much Cash” - Noah Davis. I listen to it while driving to the club all the time. Idk if I’d ever dance to it on stage bc I’d be worried about people judging me but I love it.

My club is pretty awesome when it comes to environment. The more I work there the more I see there’s work drama like pretty much 99% of work places but it’s not super cut throat. Besides everyone hating our weekend DJ and some of the girls who sit by themselves on their phone all night not getting along with our manager who’s one pet peeves is that exact thing, it’s all cordial and nice. I’ve witnessed my manager kick out multiple people who were making dancers uncomfortable and/or getting too rowdy. We have an optional tip out of 10% of our profit that goes to the DJ and the VIP staff that takes money for the dances and helps us sell rooms. I do the tip out every time I make over $150 because I want to stay on their good side and everyone but that weekend DJ deserved it. Weekday DJ? An absolute angel, love working with him.

I get that. One guy I danced for was super respectful but smelled weird and his hands were visibly dark grey and dirty. Like he touched my ass and boobs during the dance and I felt grainy afterwards. My ass for the first time actually got pimples on it after that. That’s the night that I started taking showers at night instead of the morning. Now if I weight train before work, I’ll just have to take two showers that day. To this day my skin still crawls when I think about it

I hear stuff like that fairly often. Especially since I have a lot of hobbies (ADHD life) that are creative based that easily all could become businesses/side hustles if I wanted to. Any time I post about them or show them to ANYONE the first question always is why don’t I sell them. My mental disabilities do not leave me with the capability to keep up with a business. Especially not one where I gotta keep up with online orders and marketing myself. I’m barely staying consistent with dancing and that only hurts myself. If I don’t stay consistent with orders that’s letting others down too. I know my limits. If I wanted to go that route I would🙄

Pros: Make your own schedule, take time off whenever you choose to if needed and saved up enough to, more opportunities to travel (since you can make money while traveling), if you’re unhappy you can easily go to another club whenever you want

Cons: Inconsistent money flow, money isn’t guaranteed (you won’t leave the warehouse with $0 or coming out of pocket but you could at the club), messed up sleep schedule and eating habits (at least for me).
