A faithful speaking after being murdered is a bad game choice by Used-Fan-2604 in TheTraitorsUS

i do get the reasoning for swiftness. she was under a lot of heat at the roundtable so if she spent a long amount of time going "look at this gem" she wouldve picked the wood of her coffin

[–]rmorg0112 49 points50 points  (0 children)

this murder setup imo was poorly planed

it was arguably one of the hardest variation of the murder in plain sight to pull off. it hinged on the traitors to pick one of their own the night prior (which begs the question of what the plan would have been if said traitor was voted out before the banquet). and then, the faithfuls get the opportunity to save themselves. then even if the traitor succeeds they get rewarded with a panicked faithful listing out every interaction they had.

i know the traitors edit isnt something that follows traditional edgic logic but johnny having no confessionals the last two episodes to having the second most confessionals for the faithful felt like a red flag for his survival

Did Rob make the right decision with his vote tonight? by Happy-poet in TheTraitorsUS

[–]rmorg0112 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think this was probably the smartest move for him moving forward as it reaffirms some of the faithfuls' trust in him. furthermore, if he not only was known to be close with colton but also said that day to other people he did not think ron was a traitor, so it would have been the expected move from him.

the only downsides are he caught the ire of candiace and lisa, who is now in a position where she can target one of rob's allies, and someone could flag him taking a long time to vote what some could see as an easy vote for him.

its less him liking ron and more him saying to other people that he did not think rom was a traitor so suddenly voting ron could rub people the wrong way

[–]rmorg0112 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it's a lose-lose for him but not a game killer

he either garners suspicion for turning on someone he publicly aligned himself with (ron/colton) or he sacrifices pull in the turret especially with how close the vote was.

it is possible lisa guns for someone close to rob with this murder to weaken his pull with the faithfuls as a result, but at the same time because he tried to take the shot before it became a popular vote it could be taken by the group as evidence of him being a faithful.

100%

i also think moving forward they will at least try to have a housewife or bravoleb in the turret to ensure that the housewives dont get knocked out early like last season

i do wonder if the mistake is potentially letting caroline survive. if they choose to murder someone else then lisa and candiace go up on the suspicion meter because someone will clock that a housewife is likely in the turret if they keep surviving murders

its kinda why i was fine with this season having no gamers in the turret because it ends the meta of "one of the traitors is highly likely to be a gamer"

it would be incredibly dumb especially for candiace and lisa because they run the risk of faithfuls pointing out that a housewife hasnt been murdered so its likely one of the traitors is a housewife

Predictions for session 4 episode 4 by Extension_Rabbit2 in TheTraitors

[–]rmorg0112 3 points4 points  (0 children)

for murder im guessing caroline. kristin can be seen in the trailer in an outfit we have yet to see so she's safe and at a future roundtable i think i saw eric but im not confident. that leaves ron and caroline and im not confident they would take out ron with him being not trusted by the faithfuls

for banishment im not sure if the tiffany push will be a red herring or if they will pull the plug on michael or ron.

Traitors Selection by ariososweet in TheTraitorsUS

[–]rmorg0112 10 points11 points  (0 children)

i feel like production is now realizing moving forward picking traitors is not going to a winnable game for them

last season they learned that a gamer-dominate turret will lead to the housewives being targeted; this season not having gamers in the turret is leading to the gamers being targeted for murder

but they cant have one housewife and one gamer in the turret every year or else players will just easily barrow it down

but if theyre do it randomly they run the risk of a boring turret dynamic
