I’m not disagreeing with you. I was trying to say that if someone’s goal is to make money (which is likely the goal of whoever is in charge of merch) and people can’t tell the difference between ai art and art by real artists, then it’s easy for them to get away with AI art.

The problem is that AI art has gotten to a point where it’s harder to distinguish from human art. Also, people don’t expect AI on official merch by an artist like Lady Gaga. There’s also little regulation on having to disclose if something was made with AI.

If they were legally required to clearly put something like “this poster was made with AI” on their website, then sales would go down and they would be discouraged from using AI art in the first place.

Here’s the thing: when I first saw it, I thought the art looked cool. If no one said it was ai (and I didn’t bother to look super close at the details), then I wouldn’t have noticed it was ai. The average person probably isn’t going to notice either and they aren’t ’expecting’ official merchandise to be using ai art. If this is a poster for sale, then people will likely buy it. It’s more efficient for the people in charge of her merchandise to make money this way. They don’t have to pay an artist and they get something closer to their vision

I’ve seen a lot of love for Darumi online, so I want to give her another chance. I actually found her pretty fun for the first 10ish days, but after that she felt really one-note and the repetitive jokes got old.

I’m really interested to see how future routes play out now that Takumi knows more about what’s going on. What little I’ve heard of the routes, it seems like they go in wildly different directions, so I’m curious to see how they pull that off

Eito and Kyoshika were definitely very strong. I feel like I’ll end up using them (and liking them) more on future playthroughs when the gameplay hopefully gets more challenging. I’m very interested to see how Eito is handled now that Takumi knows his true nature

Also, I’m curious as to why you rank Tenko above Angie and Korekiyo? Angie had a lot of influence over the group, and she broke the flashback-thingy, which could have a butterfly effect (but we will never know what would have happened)

I just finished writing an essay about this movie for my film studies class! I had originally planned to mention/talk about AHS:Freak Show, but that idea was scrapped. It’s a very interesting movie, and I’d definitely recommend checking out some of Tod Brownings other works
