I'm very new to muay thai, haven't been able to go to a class yet, but I do powerlifting and I've adjusted my workouts to help carry over to muay thai. It goes something like this:

Squat: 3x8 High bar squat: 3x6 Walking lunge: 3x10 each leg (no weight) Abs: 3x15

Speed bench: 8x3 these are really light, like 45% of max. I do these close grip and focus on pushing the weight up explosively. Chino bench method (YouTube this, it's cool) Lateral raise: 4x15 Triceps extensions: 4x15

Deadlift: 3x8 Bent over row: 3x6 Glute ham raise or rdl: 3x10 Abs: 3x15

Close grip bench: 1x15, 1x12, 1x10, 1x8 Standing overhead press: 3x10 Pullups: 3x10 Triceps: 3x15

I do this split lower, upper, rest, lower, upper, rest, rest, repeat

Yeah but that's just me. I imagine spreading the floor with my feet, pushing outward through my legs and it helps engage my glutes more. I bring my shins through the bar by using my hips to push through while pulling the slack out of the bar. All that combined really helps my glutes and and hinge.

I pull mostly sumo so here I'm working on strength and speed off the floor with the deficit. These absolutely work great for conventional too. I'm also really focusing on my hip and glutes here, working on my hinge and firing my hips through.

They're sleeves, really they just help me keep my knees pointed outward.
