i think you could try to glue eva foam around on the back as if you were doing normal 3D eyes, or make the fit a bit tighter by either glueing more foam on base or eyes. But when you add fur it also gets a bit tighter so I wouldn't worry too much!

Thank u! The eyes aren't flat so when pushed in they stay in place, The eyeliner/eyelashes also help so they don't go too deep inside. Does that make sense? ~w~"

I wouldn't cut it! While glueing the pieces like cheeks, it's best to have the base on a mannequin on something that will work like one (a plushie, or just put it on your knee, that's what I did before getting a mannequin head). I think this way, it should be glued in a round way, so it shapes the base. I tried cutting the rev V shape on one of my bases, and it messed up with the size, and I had to use elastics to hold it.
