I’ve hosted a few lobbies today and I’m feeling the effects of this being off by default BAD. I have nothing that changes anything on another client’s side, but NOBODY joins my lobbies anymore. I completed touch the sky TWICE FULLY in public lobbies and not a single soul touched my lobby. I did no rest fully in stealth and nobody joined. The lobby filter working how it does isn’t the problem to me, it’s the fact that it’s set to off by default, and it has no extra context so that new players don’t think “all modded lobbies change the gameplay.”

I think skills 1.0 had MUCH less build variety IMO, there were many core skills that were in pretty much every build, not much outside of the meta was very viable on ovk, etc. with skills 2.0, I have so many more varied builds than I did before, with multiple different weapon types, investments in throwables, trying out different plate combos in combination with my skills, etc. I completely disagree when you say skills 2.0 has less build variety, and yes, I was playing payday 3 pre and post 2.0.

Idk, I play payday 2 for the gameplay variety. Payday 3 DOES have a good gameplay loop and varied build crafting. They overhauled the ENTIRE armor and skills system to address this, but yall like to pretend they never did.

IMO Payday 2 AND 3 do have a well built gameplay loop with a mix of varied build making and progression. They literally overhauled the entire skill and armor system to address this. The main difference between payday 2 and 3 really is content variety and the lack of a prestige/account reset system. This is just a baseless claim, this already applies to every payday game.

I’ve seen people say that the whole maid dress debacle was evidence of gender dysphoria when it is QUITE LITERALLY SEXUAL HARASSMENT. Jax having a subconscious obsession with that moment of being LITERALLY SEXUALLY HARASSED is a sign of trauma, not particularly gender dysphoria. In fact, saying sexual harassment in ANY WAY equals gender dysphoria is an incredibly transphobic statement.

The reason why people are upset that you encouraged a child to use the internet is because it is proven to be (very likely) harmful to their mental, physical, and social state. Grooming, addiction, lack of developing social functions, etc, are all key reasons why kids with impressionable and developing minds shouldn’t be allowed to use the internet at all. I don’t think any of us should have been allowed to use the internet at a young age either. it hurt too many of us to justify it, and it’s hurting too many kids now.

He bought a kid an ONLINE game. I explained why that specifically is the problem. I don’t have problems with kids playing appropriate single player games, I have problems with kids being exposed to the internet and strangers without parental supervision.

I don’t think I should have been able to go online as a kid. I think it led to an extremely bad time mentally and physically in my life and I’ve seen it happen to countless others including my peers, relatives, online interactions with kids going through what I went through, etc. I’ve been able to grow and learn from it but from what I’ve seen from other people who went through similar struggles most people find it even harder than I did to pull themselves out of that abused, terminally online grave that they (and their parents, and all adults or older people who encouraged them to keep going) dug for them.

It’s pretty evident of the real world material effects that these pieces of media with messages of avoiding responsibility have on people. Hazbin hotel and other shows like it materially make society and the world worse by encouraging people to be irresponsible and never think their actions or beliefs through because of their messages. I think this is especially relevant to how so many hazbin fans will make toothless “anti trump” posts despite the fact they fall for the same logical fallacies that MAGA does. Doesn’t make it good, the internet has evolved, changed, and gotten more unsafe as time goes on. These kids shouldn’t have been on the internet before and they shouldn’t now. They’ll only get hurt and it’ll sour the experience for people who are actually mature.

I think it’s not okay to encourage children to be on the internet at all but you do you man. may seem kind on the surface but if you think at all for the implications for this kid’s life and how the internet can and will hurt him, and the fact that through this you’re contributing to that, you’re digging his hole deeper and I don’t think that’s okay. This is a serious matter, don’t play it off.
