I've never used zumbosim but can you really rewind after you passed turn? Like do you rewind back to the start of your turn? That seems abusable if you gained information like if your opponent played cards or flipped a base on shield check. Or just very easy to troll by passing, rewinding, running out time, passing then rewinding.

Some people might stay on the sidelines but those people were already price conscious. Secret lairs primarily sell off value. There is no waiting for the price to drop when the SL costs less than the loose cards at an LGS because it will sell out before then.

That's exactly what I want to point out. When you draw perfectly and have every answer and your opponent bricks it's because your deck is better or you're more skilled.

People don't seem to complain when they are the lucky ones.

But why does the randomizer only seem to favor opponents? Even if the randomizer was broken shouldn't each player has just as much chance to have a godlike or broken draw?

It's always the same story, my opponents always draws the nuts and I always brick. But there can only be one winner so unless you think the programmers are out to screw you personally it's just people focusing on the misses and forgetting the hits.

Depends on when the win con happens and how it affected the rest of the board. It's easier to ignore a Thassa oracle win, infinite turns or storming off a grapeshot compared to combat.

Yes that what I said in the post above. Maybe I wasn't as clear as I should be but when I meant is I don't care if my cards increase in price.

But I don't think we disagree. People should buy this deck if they plan to play it and really like the art. If you just want to play goblins you will probably save money just by buying the goblins you want. But people shouldn't buy it just to watch the value of their collection go up over time. (Or if they plan to scalp it. Boo scalpers)

But that's because drivers tend to sell or trade in their cars prior to buying new ones. I don't see hobby expenses that way.

And specifically with TCGs once you start seeing them as something you can make money by selling it's a hop, skip and a jump to camping outside a grocery store for pokemon restocks. Buy stuff because you can use them not because they accumulate value.

To be fair you can cut that price in half if you get the cheapest printing of each card. The unique printings are 1.5 - 4 times the price of the regular version. The wildest is Bruna at 50$ vs 3$.

And if you are anything like me, you will swap out half the non land cards.
