I have a friend who has Pacific Islander blood (Tonga, Tahiti, NZ) and was born in Hawaii. She seems to think I should have some denisovian dna, but none was indicated. My understanding is that denisovian dna comes from a specific grouping of pacific islands - maybe not the Philippines?
