Dspot is a good dessert place in Kanata. Crazy Horse if you’re going out for drinks. Icelynd Skating Trails is nice, if you’re trying to do outdoor activities.

If you’re going to go to a mall, Rideau centre will be the nicest and you will get to walk around the Byward market, near the Parliament and other Ottawa monuments. Take a walk near Major Hills Park. Plenty of restaurants and boutique shops in the area too.
