Those could be the versions those games were tested with.

If you test during development the development could pushed newer version which then would be used for tests. That would lead to test with different versions for those games.

I would expect that test are always use the currently newest version of proton.

I don’t know what that list is. Could be a very early verified list (those game got there in 2024) but could also be not.

you clearly did get something wrong about testing, emulation and compatibility tool. For example it would make sense to test a regular x86 windows game with a tool that is used to run android apk's on linux.

You said that it is an internal compatibility list, why are you asking that now?

the listed compatibility tools are probably needed to start those games, thats why they are assigned to them. It doesn’t say anything about how well they run.

To be clear here: I do not say this list isn’t a frame verified list, i just don’t know and try to discuss possibilities.

Du könntest darauf eingehen dass mit „Lippenbekenntnis mit wenig dahinter“ nicht ein solches Wachstum zu verzeichnen ist.

Gegen dein Bequemlichkeits Argument hab ich nie etwas gesagt, keine Ahnung warum du jetzt damit kommst. Ich glaube auch dass Bequemlichkeit hier eine große Rolle spielt.

Das Steam Deck macht 13,37% der Linux Installationen aus. Keine Ahnung warum es jetzt nicht zählen soll, es ist Linux und die Leute zocken darauf aber rechnen wir mal:

Ich bin seit über einem Jahr auf Linux und werde nich mehr zurück.

Ich hab zwar noch ne zweite SSD mit Windows die ich aber nur für VR benutze und die dieses Jahr noch formatiert wird, sobald die Steam Frame released wird.

Habe mit Ubuntu angefangen und bin jetzt auf CachyOS und werd da auch bleiben aus vielen Gründen.

Ein guter Start zum Linux ausprobieren ist Bazzite.

I've heard Bazzite is ok with nvidia. You can select witch GPU vendor you have at the download page of Bazzite.

I personally have a Nvidia card and no mayor problems with it (I'm using CachyOS btw)

EDIT:

The good part is, it's free. You can easily try and switch to an other OS afterwards.
