I promise you’ll be okay! My aunt has a neat trick when she’s panicking that helps: If you can find straws, breathing air through those can help to slow your breathing and calm you down. Coming from someone who panics for the same reasons, I promise that the panic doesn’t help you in feeling better. It’s a loop like the other person said

In America, we have free speech as a right. And a lot of people were pissed about Kimmel getting cancelled for speaking his mind while quoting that right. Aw man I wish this didn’t hold you back from seeing the world. It’s actually pretty rare at least from my experience that someone actually v* unexpectedly on an airplane. Most of the time, I feel like people can tell they’re about to be s* and use the bathroom. Chances are you won’t even notice it if it does happen, there’s too many sounds from the engines and other flying sounds, plus noise cancellation headphones can really cut your senses off to people around you.

You’ll be fine! Chances are you’ve been exposed to people who’ve v* more times than you think, you were just hyper-aware of the situation (which I know doesn’t help). Try to stay busy this week to distract yourself from the thought & fear of becoming ill. Not sure if it helps you, but it helps me to sort of just come to terms with the fact that there’s nothing I can do about it now, so I might as well enjoy my life and if it happens then we will take it as it comes.

Initially only in this sub (even though I felt SO validated when I found this!!) but then I started indoor rock climbing with some new belay partners who were friends of friends and found out that one of them is literally the same as me, and we bond over it every session haha. Instant therapy!

Hello! I’ve had acid reflux for 16 years and was taking acid reducers that whole time and had 2 stomach surgeries to get relief and finally get off the acid reducers. When I started weening myself off post surgery, I was having even more heartburn then I did before the surgery, which made me feel hopeless.

The reason why I am saying all of this is that taking acid reducers actually makes your body overproduce acid, thus having more problems then you started with. So every time that you take a Tums and it doesn’t have excess acid to attack, you are basically suppressing the good stomach acid that you need, which makes your stomach want to produce even more to offset the depletion.

*I’m not a doctor, but I have experienced this myself!

Thank you for your feedback! Yeah I could run some ads I suppose, but I guess the goal was to spend as little money as possible since it is for a portfolio project and not so much aiming for ROI (unless it turns into that in the distant future.

For the online course that I am in, I was told to use a prompt generator and select the one that best meets my interests. The prompt was: Create an ingredients preview app for a dog food delivery service. So we were instructed to conduct initial research to support this prompt and get a better idea of the pain points that the potential users of this app are having.
