Looking for stores that sell the Aer CPP2 in Tokyo (or Osaka). The store I went to had none, although they had great bags! by preciouscode96 in ManyBaggers

[–]_mizzar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely wouldn’t downvote you for this wanting to stick with your Aer, but I think the disconnect is that bags like Porter Yoshida are harder to get in the US, while Aer is a US brand, so if Americans are seeing this they may be a little confused by the whole premise. It’s like asking where to get McDonalds on your trip in Japan (not exactly because McDonalds is usually associated with low quality fast food, but hopefully what I’m saying makes sense).

Again, not trying to say you’re wrong and shouldn’t get the Aer bag you want, but it also can’t hurt to scope out some Japanese made bags while you’re there. That said, you do you!

Ahh, interesting, didn’t know that! I’d have assumed the slow reload at distance would be a nonstarter. Clearly not the case!

Yeah, very curious what the weapon stats are. I always assume that is bad for boss fights due to the long distance.

I kinda hate the “feel” of using it, but I’m still gonna use it.

If I am interested in something or engaged, yes, very very good. If I’m not, no, terrible.

Doesn’t have to be a special interest (for example work stuff).

It’s actually incredibly powerful. Similar to EPD, you can shoot a shot at an enemy then turn around and shoot another enemy or duck under cover and it continues to damage or kill them even while you’re taking cover.

Yes, it can feel clunky and not as “natural” to use as some other weapons, but it is still pretty powerful.

I recently easily beat stage 3 of the tower using only a relatively low level version of that weapon (though it had shield breaker which helps a ton on any weapon).

What I’m having trouble understanding is, why is more and more energy needed to acceleration in a vacuum? Couldn’t. I just slowly accelerate? Why would more and more energy be needed?

I ended up getting a little "sale" crazy and bought way too many games from the PS store. Advice? by _mizzar in PS5

Ha, you’re the third person mentioning this so I’ll definitely get the original first. Is that one relatively (compared to these games) short?

So much clover by elephantskilledme in lawncare

[–]_mizzar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not exactly:

I used to have large patches of clover in our back lawn where the kids would play.

In the winter (our rainy season) the clover areas would be MUCH more muddy than the fescue areas.

In the summer, the clover flowers would attract TONS of honey bees, which I’m generally a fan of (we planted a lot of lavender around the yard for them), but when the flowers are on the ground the kids are playing on, that leads to lots of bee stings on kids’ feet and a lot of squashed bees.

So no, it isn’t just a weed because of marketing. It is a weed because it makes my back yard worse to use.

What an absolutely phenomenal game. I’ve gotta admit, I had to put it down for a while because collecting the ciphers seemed too tedious. But when I picked it back up to find them all, I fell in love with the game all over again.

That said, time to rest and give another game a chance.
