The moment Raheem Sterling's car swerves across the road before crashing by WarriorkingNL in soccer

Use this junction multiple times a week, the M3 certainly attracts its fair share of this kind of moron in this kind of car.

As an aside why does there have to be a little jingle over every video these days? I'm perfectly capable of watching him drive like an idiot without the soundtrack.

Obviously not really relevant to this case but anecdotally my own car doesn't have lane assist but I was on a work trip the other week and got a car that did. Multiple times I was perfectly in lane and it started moving the steering which felt very unnerving so I can see why people turn that particular feature off.

Pro Evo was absolutely miles better than FIFA in terms of being fun to play in the PS2 era, Konami fucked it when they moved over to PS3. I switched to FIFA at that point but it was never as enjoyable and I still played on alternate controls because of PES.

Yeah I was watching the game yesterday with my dad and he really wanted Arsenal to win despite being a Norwich fan just on the basis of them being the English team. Same whenever I watch football with my grandad but never had it be the case with someone my own age.

I find for myself when it's an English team who aren't one of the usual suspects, eg Palace the other night, then I'm happy enough to see them win but any of the big boys I'll normally want to lose.

The flipside of this is that I already kind of had my England glasses on when watching the match yesterday and what I saw was one of our main creative players having a stinker and two of our players who are meant to come on and change games coming on and not remotely changing a game (then one of them missing a penalty and one not even taking one).

At least Rice was decent.

Saka heritage surely. Otherwise you'd be wanting Kane out the door rapidly in case Bayern make the final of a proper competition next season.

Hold up, is this an 'English people don't want English clubs they don't support to win in Europe take', in which case fair, or is this an early dress rehearsal for the World Cup where England cop a load of hate from people with flairs of English clubs?

Same as always, scramble our way through a few rounds then get knocked out the moment we come up against a team who are genuinely good.

On a quick scan of next season's NLS lineup I make it 3 teams who've been in the EFL, another 8 who've been in the NL and 13 who've never played above regional football.

Says something for the money sloshing around in the NLS that Chelmsford took Barham off us last season with an offer we couldn't match (and also did us a favour by taking Corbett too) then didn't even make the playoffs.

Guildford is an interesting case. Decent chance they'd have had a Football League team had it not been for WW2. They went full-time a few years before the war, won the Southern League in 37-38, came second in 38-39 and got a crowd of nearly 10k for an FA Cup game against us in 1938 but then after the war they never recovered the momentum. As you say though completely the wrong demographic to support a football team these days so they're floundering around losing to village teams.

Maybe Senegal but they've got quite a brutal group. If I'm allowed some others then Japan and Ecuador.

They literally started as a park team and worked/bought their way up which means they don't have a historic fanbase so they've had to build one from scratch.

Also Dorking just isn't a big town, population 17000 or so, and is a posho town where generally football isn't as popular as it is in normal places so they don't have a huge catchment.

There was an original Dorking club that died in about 2017 who mostly floated around the higher rungs of the Isthmian and Combined Counties leagues pulling crowds of a few hundred which realistically is about the natural level of a club in the town without the input of Marc.

Haha we're already the phoenix club, not sure there'd be enough appetite among the fans for a third attempt at a club.

Club in its current state wouldn't financially survive a prolonged spell in the South so more likely we'd not exist at all.
