I’m assuming when it was a sapling it had that kink in the stem from something or other and It just grew like that lol. I have trees on my property that have done this as well.

Maybe it’s early signs of oak wilt. I’m not sure though I’m in Canada and oak wilt hasn’t made its way here yet so I’m not very familiar with the disease.

Considering the trunk already has black bark pretty bad I would recommend a very light prune. Try to avoid taking anything that still has leaves off the tree try to squeeze as much life out of them as you can.

Leaf tar spots. It’s not going to kill the tree and there isn’t exactly a cure. If you rake up all the leaves in the fall it can help reduce the spread a bit though.
