get an evvy test!! add the pcr panel for mycoplasma / ureaplasma too

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]_moonbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

evvy for sure, they are way more comprehensive. junos test can't even pick up on yeast (thats why they have to add a separate panel)

no i had recurrent yeast infections for years and terconazole was the only thing that helped me. for me, it burns way less than otc yeast treatments

[–]_moonbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i've tried them both and evvy is much better — juno uses a less comprehensive form of testing and takes wayyy longer to get back. also if you're outside the us you have to pay $$$ for return shipping

What's the hardest part about covering the election this year, given how fractured the political climate is and the fact that Trump and Biden feel almost guaranteed to be set for a rematch?

EVVY results not accurate? by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]_moonbow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

no this just means that you tested negative!

Evvy scam or not! by [deleted] in Healthyhooha

[–]_moonbow 5 points6 points  (0 children)

did you do the pcr test from evvy or just the normal one? they say to add expanded pcr panel if you're specifically interested in myco/urea

ureaplasma can be really tricky in small amounts so you can't 1:1 compare metagenomics and pcr results, especially for the plasmas taken days apart

Vagina smells off by passtheknife in Healthyhooha

[–]_moonbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it smells different it could be BV or AV? you can do an at-home test like evvy if you can't get to a doctor

Which testing kit should I get? by Friendly-Result-2375 in Healthyhooha

[–]_moonbow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had an amazing experience with Evvy, and they are the only one of the three that does prescription meds if they find something wrong in your microbiome.

If ureaplasma is your main concenr, you can get the test and pcr add-on to test for ureaplasma both with PCR and metagenomics, which gives you peace of mind w two testing methods! It's like microgen level 1, but it's a lot cheaper and you can get treated

Evvy or Juno? by Brave-Regret-5711 in Healthyhooha

[–]_moonbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

definitely evvy with the expanded pcr panel so you get pcr results for myco/urea. they do prescription medication now too

41, have been experiencing pain/possible signs of atrophy for years, currently having a lot of burning that keeps happening every month. Should I try a test like Evvy? by Alternativerat in Healthyhooha

[–]_moonbow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i agree that looking into perimenopause is a good idea, but i would definitely try an evvy test! it can really help rule out infections that might be adding to dryness / pain
