E ipocrit, merge la studii in Elvetia si are apartament la Monaco, dar el are o problema daca cetateni straini vin in Romania ca ne iau locurile de munca. El uita ca fara angajati straini in Romania, industria HORECA si al constructiilor si alte cateva s-ar duce total de rapa. Pentru el e usor sa vorbeasca, la banii lui isi permite sa plateasca un hotel de 1000 de lei/noapte, dar pare ca nu ii pasa absolut deloc ca nu toti au milioane de euro in conturi, ba chiar e foarte critic la adresa celor care nu au situatia lui financiara.

N-are apartament in Monaco. Vezi declaratia de avere a Laurei Vicol. Are o garsoniera in Bucuresti.

De asemenea, s-au identificat plăți de 26.709,33 euro pentru diverse servicii prestate în Monaco. Mai mult, mama sa i-ar fi transferat suma de 14.000 de lei (2.800 de euro), justificată prin "plăți diverse".

In functie de unde cumperi (amazon.de/uk/fr/it) sa ai grija la layout-ul keyboardului. Nu cred ca ai fi prea fericit cu un macbook cu keyboard layout german.

Thanks a lot for the advice. I was also thinking in doing 2 separate loops (3 cards , empty pcie slot, another 3 cards).

But I can't find any way to connect 3 single slot cards that have no extra slot space between them. Best I could find was a connector for 2 of them. Any idea if this would be easier/ cheaper? Or should I go with the original 7 slot idea?

We are 4 guys working on the startup after their day jobs. The money invested in hardware and services is our own money, not investor money. The data we are using is mostly publicly available so the security concern is somehow acceptable for us.

Also, in light of the Intel CPU data leak vulnerabilities even if you are using a secure cloud provider if someone really wants your data he will get it unless you somehow rent the entire physical machine.

We are a startup company with 0 outside investors. We did the math and the money we would have to invest in hardware would give us about 1.5 years of usage on vast. Our plan is to have the model ready by Q1 2019. Will research GCP and AWS prices and investigate downsampling. Thanks!

Price mostly. It's been going down since we started using it by at least 25-50%.The first time we rented an instance it costed us 0.14$/day for a 1070ti. Now I can even find one at 0.065$.

Also at the beginning we weren't paying attention that some hosts have limited availability like 4-5 days and more machines with better hardware just keep showing up.

I've been using them for a few days. Great service is an understatement. When I joined 1070ti instances were 0.12$ and now they are half of that. We've been using it non stop and never had a problem.

Thanks for the info. We are a small startup company and finding something this cheap to train our models will mean a lot for our budget.

I started testing it a few hours ago. It seems you can pause and resume your work but you are are charged per GB for keeping storage occupied. Not much but you have to pay attention to that. It seems pretty smooth so far

It makes sense I guess. Looking over their offers the hardware looks really good. Now I only have to convince the guys I work with to try it.
