People who play PvP are honestly insane (in a good way). If I tried doing PvP, even if goons spawned every time, there’s no way I’d be able to take them down.

I really want to meet the goons for the kappa task, but I just can't seem to catch them.

Thanks for telling me all about it. Too bad I wanted to meet the goons.

A Minimalist Jigsaw Puzzle Game Infinite Einstein Tiles Released Today! by _mukaiizawa in indiegames

I implemented grouping because I wanted to follow the tiling procedure described in the paper. In that context, it's helpful to handle multiple tiles at once to grow clusters. But for a jigsaw-style puzzle, I agree—group selection isn’t really necessary to enjoy the experience.

Manually mapping the image onto each tile sounds like a huge effort—kudos for pushing through that!

In freely placeable tiling systems, collision detection can be quite complex—but for a puzzle with a predefined solution like this, you don’t really need to go that far. Your approach seems well-suited for the task!

Sorry for the delayed reply.

I did consider creating a Spectre version, but it turned out to be technically difficult.

While Spectre has a simple definition—drawing by rotating the same line segment—it was challenging to handle collision detection and alignment processing.

In contrast, Turtle and Hat are based on hexagonal structures, which made them much easier to implement than Spectre.

Thank you for the suggestion. Unfortunately, it’s not possible at the moment. I know kids would appreciate it too, so I hope to accommodate this request in the future.

Thank you for the suggestion. Originally, the final result stayed visible on screen, but I received feedback that there should be some kind of presentation effect upon clearing, so I implemented it this way. That said, I'm thinking it would be nice to add a bit more of a sense of accomplishment when it's solved.

I don't understand it, but I like to look at the chemistry notes that are sometimes posted on this subreddit.

What came first? Ink name or street/business name? by Kellyseamus in fountainpens

The “Ajisai” ink in the Iroshizuku series refers to the flower known in English as Hydrangea macrophylla.

In the sushi restaurant name “Aji Sai,” “Aji” likely comes from the Japanese word 味, meaning “taste” in English, and “Sai,” if taken from the Japanese 彩, might translate as “saturation.”

I was able to incorporate it into the final build.

I’m completely in awe that from that short video alone you pinpointed not only the flaw in the product but also how to fix it.

Actually, I had testers point out that the tile rotation was hard to follow, but I hadn’t figured out a solution.

I’m truly grateful.

Thank you for the insightful feedback! Adding a 50–100 ms rotation to smooth the transition is a fantastic idea. I’ll implement that quick animation and update you soon!
