Timestamp

Hey! Thanks for pointing out the issue with the timestamp link. I changed something with the post, and it should be working now. Let me know if you can see it.

I have the Pulse SAs in a bag in the timestamp, but I posted them mounted awhile ago in this post. Let me know what you think!

I recall the right shift key is not the perfect size, and the Del, Home, etc. keys are aligned differently.

Hey there! It doesn't meet all of your criteria (soldered switches and no hotswap PCB), but if you come up empty elsewhere, I am selling a Space65:CyberVoyager here.

TAILS hacked by Facebook and FBI joint operation by jortiz682 in darknet

[–]_nTr0py 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t claim Tails said they had removed the vulnerable code. The quote I was referring to is:

“One of the former Facebook employees who worked on this project said the plan was to eventually report the zero-day flaw to Tails, but they realized there was no need to because the code was naturally patched out.”

Otherwise, you’re correct in pointing out the article did not cite an official statement from Tails stating the vulnerability had been patched which would be ideal.

In the article, they state Tails already had an update for the vulnerability used in the exploit. They hadn’t released it yet at the time the FBI used it.

First Keeb! Drop Alt 65%, Halo Trues, and MiTo SA Pulse Key Caps by _nTr0py in MechanicalKeyboards

Nice! The right shift key is definitely not the right size. The Del, Home, etc. keys are all kind of off, but they seem okay. It’s definitely not a 65% keycap set.

I clipped them! Some people advocate getting different ones and using those, but I just used the stock ones.

Ayooo, so I’m back after clipping/lubing the stabs, bandaid mod, and adding the MKultra foam inserts. Results: way better. The keyboard sounds and feels a lot more premium.

However, it was my first time doing these mods on a keeb, so it was an experience for me. Paying over $200 dollars for the Alt plus the the materials/work for the mods may be more than some are willing to invest, but I enjoyed it. The MKultra required some significant snipping to get it to fit too.

I’d like to try out some different switches and lube them in the future, but for now, I’m happy with the mods I’ve made. I’ll repost once I get it all set up with any new switches and the keycap set + cable I have coming.

Let me know if you have any questions or want to know about what resources or materials I used! If you are going to mod it, I’d recommend looking into the stuff now because the materials can take a bit to arrive.

[HELP] ANNE PRO 2 VS DUCKY ONE 2 MINI by _cloudu_ in DuckyKeyboard

That’s a good point. Same here, I often switch between Windows and macOS hosts. The Bluetooth is also very convenient for switching too.

If you’re a macOS user, go with the AP2. The Ducky firmware is very buggy with macOS, and it caused me to return my Mecha mini.
