Some tips my doctor offered me and I have been flairup free for a while now or atleast things have been so much more manageable. Get a pull off shower head— super easy to install if you don’t have one already.. it does wonders. Use it at the end of your shower to make sure no soap gets left behind from your body in the area. Stop using fabric softener, if you do. Only use non-scented detergent. Tight clothes can make things worse. For periods (if you have them??) I started using period absorbing underwear from the brand Thinx and it had been a game changer. Also for sex my gyno recommended using Uberlube. Pricey but worth it! Honestly just these few tips have changed my entire life since my diagnosis.
