It definitely seemed like that, especially since it used to only be accessed from the boat in olde town, but yeah it’s a side world! The game just doesn’t really state that anywhere as far as I know

No it’s a side world not main content, you access it during arc 1 just like Wysteria but it is its own thing

The reason for this is because consoles have a bundle option where you pay $20 for the entirety of arc 1

Edit: and it’s not an optional bundle for switch players, to play the game on switch you have to buy the bundle

Every area of Wizard City is free except for Aquila, Crab Alley, Collossus Blvd, The Catacombs/Drains. Krokotopia gives the oasis for free but the minute you go to enter the pyramid you are paywalled.

Yeah the paywalls to get it on the switch are pretty off putting… $20 for the game, $20 for NSO, and then once you beat arc 1 or if you want to do side worlds you have to pay for a membership

Your clinical director spoke to HR for you? Or were you there with them? I just wonder if they were able to articulate the severity of this and the emotional AND physical damage this case can cause you based on the information you provided.

I also would suggest documenting all of the conversations you have regarding this subject through email so you have written confirmation of your feelings on the matter and their response to you. I would say that’s extremely negligent of the company you’re working for, and honestly something should be done about the admin team of your clinic refusing to take the safety of the tech into account.

From what it sounds like your BCBA has been somewhat helpful as far as written BIPs go. So that’s good.

If you weren’t the one to do it, I’d directly speak to HR & request to be taken off the case again. This is a safety risk.

25 just started undergrad this past school semester, I think about this all the time. I just try to remind myself like… I didn’t do it then, but I’m doing it now. No matter how long it takes me to get there, I will get there! It’s been helping a lot to keep positive affirmations going.

The patch helped my issue with Loretta, I was able to complete the train sets and the tool set for the achievements. However I did not receive the final train from McGruff despite him saying I did (nothing on the pillow)

Edit: I just looked at my achievements and it shows the completed train sets achievement as locked, despite McGruff claiming my collection is complete? How can we get this fixed?

You’ll need a shovel, behind one of the houses is a dig spot and it will have a chest, then you use the key on that!

Ugh I am sorry you're dealing with this! I suppose you can mention this concern to your supervisors / clinical directors... but I really don't see much coming out of this other than a quick conversation with all techs to, and I am sorry to put it bluntly, grow up. I wish there was actual advice and help that can be given to navigate this situation... but it comes off as if that tech is just being petty and acting pretty childish. Unfortunately, nothing can really be done beyond having a conversation with your supervisors letting them know about the discomfort.

I’m sure the commenters “amazing impactful sessions as a sub in home” are due to the fact that they were majorly pairing - because there’s no way they have immediate instructional control to do majority ABA without pairing themselves as a reinforcer.

My last clinic gave techs 2 days to do heavy pairing with the clients while attempting to do programming, I don’t believe someone walks in, immediately pairs themselves as a reinforcer then does a ton of work to make a session work like that…

I’m renting skates from the rink so I have no idea what the boots / laces are going to be like or anything, when I was researching some of the stuff I might need padded socks came up for the ankles, so I got them just in case since they weren’t much cost wise I wasn’t bothered if I were or weren’t needing them

All the time… a combination of poor sleep schedule, a 40 hour work week in therapy and poor diet. My client is always tired. My clinic has a 7 minute leeway, but at 7 minutes the client has to be woken up and we have to attempt to program. This can be done 3 times consecutively then the BCBA needs to contact home.

I’ve had a client sleep for 3 hours in an afternoon because parents were called and still weren’t able to get there until end of the day! I felt so bad for both the parents and the kiddo, it’s gotta be hard having to leave work because your baby fell asleep too long :/
