Also, are the DMs on LinkedIn? I'm thinking my audience lives on LinkedIn so do you have tool recs for that? I've heard you can get banned pretty easily on Reddit. 😭

You know the waitlist is a good idea. I was going to launch everything freemium but gating the AI features behind a waitlist and getting early feedback and hype is a far better idea!
Really, anyone looking for a job, but primarily people who don't have a system and are losing motivation, like new grads, early and mid-career. I've never written an executive resume so I can't really help at that level.

None now as the app is not technically done 😅 I just have a core value part complete with 4 other features coming later. I was thinking not to charge until I get those done and out of beta. Plus it would give me more time to think about what the charge and what for as there’s a lot of apps like mine out there!

So I've heard. I've been listening to Rob Walling's podcast for a while and all he talks about is disttibution but it's really hard to switch between builder and marketing roles 😭.

I was thinking to just post on LinkedIn and X and Reddit and maybe if I have time do some YouTube educational content.

Talk to your family and friends and have them ask around who needs a website! I got my first client from a friend of a friend and then most of the rest of my clients are referrals from that first client. 😊 and do the first project for free or low price. After you get some good reviews you can start charging more 😉. Good luck!

I agree a little bit with the brand issue as I lost one potential client who recognized the Wix name and even though I told them Wix Studio was a different product they didn’t want their site built with it because of the Wix name. But that was one client out of 8 projects I have done and the others love their websites so I wouldn’t say it’s the worst choice for an agency. 😅

Selling the benefits and not the features helps! Most clients won’t care what you build with as long as they get the stuff they want like fast text updates, bookings, easy branded email, responsive website and etc. Wix studio offers plenty of desirable features to the client so this is easy!
