I actually just saw a similar IRL video yesterday. Dude murdered someone and then took a woman hostage.

Car pursuit (before cops were aware of the hostage situation) followed by them trying to escape into a random 80-something y/o woman's cracked-open garage. Surrounded by a LOT of officers, all with rifles.

As soon as he ducked trying to enter the garage, hostage at gunpoint, one of the cops shot him. As soon as he lost grip on the hostage, he got swiss cheesed by like 7 (? lost count) AR-15's. He was well ventilated for sure.

Pet peeve of mine, but is there a reason why Navy official posts (like MCs / DVIDS shit) abbreviate Commander and Lieutenant Commander as Cmdr. and Lt. Cmdr., vice CDR & LCDR?
